Bhabi's Kitchen EXCELLENT

Bowlfish | Jul 13, 200407:01 PM

Following the advice of several chowhound postings, we tried Bhabi's Kitchen on Saturday night. Everything we had was fantastic -- Bagaray Baigan (eggplant), Brocolli Rabe, Chicken Masala, Mutton Qorma. Mr. Syed suggested we with stick with plain nan instead of a vegetable paratha (given the bounty of food we were ordering) The Baigan is of course out of this world, freshly ground nuts, spices -- truly wonderful. The Masala built up it's burn level through every bite, until it was time to take home left-overs. The Qorma didn't make it home with us, just too darn tasty to leave for the next day.

We chatted for a long time w/Mr. Syed during and after the meal including a tour of the kitchen and seeing pictures of his daughters. His wife, the chef, brought us 2 dessert samples (rice pudding and Pistachio Kulfi). Can't wait to get back there to try more dishes...
