Beware: BLT Fish

First time at any of the BLT restaurants. We chose BLT Fish. My companion and I were mad for the garlic bread served almost immediately after we were seated. Then it was downhill. The prices are way too high for what you get: a portion of 8 fried clams bedded on excellent cole slaw, but our neighbor at the next table figured they cost $2 each. The soft shell crab sandwich had the tiniest critter I've ever seen between two slices of bread---the crab was slathered in mayonnaise so spicy that you couldn't taste the crab at all. Also very pricey. Complained to the waiter when he asked how it was. He said he'd tell the chef. After the guys at the next table complained about their food, also portions too small, too expensive, to the hostess, she left the restaurant! "Caesar salad" served as a sort of crudite: whole romaine leaves with a drizzle of yellow sauce and grated cheese accompanied by a small cup of more yellow sauce for dipping, I guess. Still holding out some shred of hope, we opted for sharing key lime pie: strong, rather bitter flavor of lime rind, grainy texture. It too was a slim portion, but we didn't want to finish it. What is good, the garlic bread and coleslaw, is first rate, but what is unpleasant, stingy and with no redress offered, overshadows the rest.
