So I was pretty excited when I heard this coffee shop was opening up around the corner from my house. Not being a regular coffee drinker, I have only been about 10 times.
I have enjoyed the Anericanos I ordered, while my family raved about the hot chocolate.
The Miracle Berry is the story here, used in place of sugar. The doughnuts, scones, and turnovers were solid choices, the sugar is not missed at all.
The savory sandwiches were top notch, with the Fried Chicken & Waffle being the best.
A few service problems have been my only issue, and to be fair, expected in any new venture. The staff is very friendly & helpful, but it can be a wait for your order to be filled. This doesn't really bother me, as this is food being made with care, not fast food. I have witnessed people getting frustrated waiting to give their order, or receive it. Some people stomped off angry.
This is a great addition to the neighborhood, and a nice alternative to Starbucks.
