This was our second trip to Bentonville and we enjoyed a couple of really great spots for food that isn't easy to find at home (Hawaii). I can wholeheartedly (maybe not the best choice of words given the artery-clogging nature of some of the dishes!) recommend Wesner's Grill in Rogers. Great biscuits, sausage gravy, grits and hash browns - all made from scratch. A breakfast of eggs, biscuits and gravy, country ham and hash browns can be yours for less than $7 per person. Great way to start the day.
The second recommendation is for The Whole Hog Cafe - while this is an outpost of the original in Little Rock (if I recall correctly) - the ribs, coleslaw and, in particular, the potato salad will not disappoint. It is classic BBQ joint service where you line up to order, take a number and pick up. Cutlery, condiments and drinks are self-serve as well. Regardless, you will enjoy the BBQ and sampling the six different sauces offered on each table. Stick with the ribs or pulled pork, the beef brisket was disappointing.
