Don't go! This was a big disappointment as I have read good reviews of this restaurant. The service was dire: the first waiter, though informative, just disappeared for ages, leaving us wine-less. The second waiter was over-intrusive.
We shared Falmouth oysters, which although nicely sea-flavoured, had a flabby texture. Cured samon with pickled cucumber was a very small portion, pleasant, but no more than that. Smoked eel was good, as was the potato pancake it sat on but it was served with an unsightly chunk of hard, undercooked beetroot. Cornish fritto misto was not as good as the usual Italian kind and the batter wasn't quite crisp enough. Squid stuffed with chorizo and feta seemed to be missing on the feta though maybe it had melted into the sauce as that was too salty. The chips just weren't chips.
The only really good points were the Cotes de Gascogne and the salad. Oh, and the people-watching was fun.
