Has anyone eaten here? We made our first visit there last night. The routine at this joint seems to be to proclaim everything on its Eisenhower-era menu from the lobster to the spumoni "the best," charge high prices, maintain a refined Rat Pack dining room atmosphere, and assume people will swallow the package. I couldn't, for the food was not special, and the busy service--more properly, salesmanship--was annoying. I'd like to hear how other 'hounds have fared at Mr. Benny's.
