I read this comment on a travel board:"Though it's neither Creole nor Cajun, I think Bella Luna on the riverfront in the Quarter offers the best views. Lovely Italian restaurant with local seasonings that offers a nice atmosphere with views over the river and to the Cresecent City Connection (just the big ol' bridge, but lit up at night it looks pretty)." I'll be in NO Mon-Fri,mid-October & will be traveling solo. As a break from Creole/Cajun cusine, how does Bella Luna rank? Is it a place one goes just for the view? And, would a senior solo woman be seated where there was a view or shunted off to a "kitchen corner"? Finally, are reservations required, recommended or not-essential? Any other hints, suggestions, comments are welcome.
