Beggar's Chicken at Shan Shan Low, Concord?

Melanie Wong | Jan 17, 200503:35 AM     11

We picked up a take-out menu for this "Mandarin and Szechuan" restaurant in Park N Shop shopping center in Concord. Often that's code for Korean-Chinese, but I don't see the tell-tale dishes.

The menu has many of the usual Americanized suspects: barbecue pork egg fu yung, General Tsou's chicken, yet a few dishes are more ambitious than that. The house specialties include Peking duck served with pancakes (one day notice required), Beggar's chicken, crispy 5-spice duck, and hot braised whole fish. Wondering whether any chowhounds have tried these dishes here or anything else.
