Yet Another Beef Noodle Soup Query

A popular breakfast/brunch item at "small eats" places in Shanghai is curry beef soup with xi fen (bean thread noodles). It uses yellow curry (probably an influence of the Brits via India) and not a lot of beef, and is usually eaten as an accompaniment to some blander items and not as meal in itself.

I have to admit, I haven't really looked for it or even thought to, because it's not a destination kind of food; but I'm suddenly missing it and wonder if anybody has stumbled across it in their quest for beef noodle soup in the Bay Area.
