ok, this might be appropriate for the cravings board, but since i'll be in san fran, i'll post here. i am looking for a good beef chow fun with gravy (with chinese broccoli, gai lan). i like the wide rice noodle to be burnt a little so that it is actually crispy. does this sound crazy? well, maybe, but if there are any chicago transplants here, then it is the hong min style i am looking for. (btw, it just burnt down this summer.) so is there a place in sf or oak ctown that does a great chow fun?
