4 of us were at Beechwood Saturday night. We had the same waitress again (good thing). They are now serving the regular menu and the bar menu in the dining room. We ordered a bottle of Hitching Post Pinot Noir and a couple of favorites from last visit..Beet, Frisee and Goat Cheese salad. Mushrooms, greens, blackeyed peas and zuccini bread. We also added the 3 types of Fries with 3 sauces. One very nice thing here is that appetizers are under ten dollars some quite a bit under. Entrees are under twenty dollars one is a bit over and many are quite a bit under. The potato fries were fresh, tasty but limp. The sweet potato fries were amazing. Moist inside, crisp outside. The sauces were aioli, spicy catsup and BBQ. It is a huge plate but we kept dipping and eating and it was quickly finished. Entrees were White Salmon, Grilled Pork Chop, Pulled Beef potpie and Braised Beef with spinach from the Bar menu. The only slight complaint was that the Pork Chop was a bit dry. Wine was excellent. Waitress did a great job taking care of us. They were quite busy and the room did get fairly noisy but not painfully so. Reading the dessert menu many things sounded good but I kept coming back to the same one. Peanut Butter Tart with homemade Cracker Jack. It is a Graham Cracker Crust filled with a homemade Peanut Butter and topped with Chocolate. It is very rich and 4 of us shared it. It was an enjoyable evening. I am glad I went back. Bill per couple with tax and tip was $100.00. They were quite busy as we left at a bit past 9:00 and were getting busier. I wish them well. Very Nice!
