Beating a dead horse and Gelato

Well, I've recently done the rounds Hollywood on Bayview, Sicilian on College, Summers on Yorkville, and La Paloma on St Clair.

I still hold that La Paloma is tops in Toronto for gelato. Four bucks and change gets you a cup of two flavours. I liked it so much that I went back again on Wednesday night. Both their pistachios (my favourite) taste great as does their nocciola (hazelnut). Recently we also enjoyed their Kiwi, although it tasted more like passion fruit. Compared to all the others their selection is huge.

Hollywood on Bayview's gelato was a close second on my list. Summer's pistachio was pretty good, but I think that if I was in the neighbourhood with a hankering for ice cream or gelato, I'd more likely walk a couple of blocks to Gregs for a cup of sweet cream and Smarties. Sicilian was my least favourite, the gelato was thin. They do have a nice patio, though.

I've only had Gelato Fresco from a box so I can't comment on them yet.
