Off-the-beaten-path Thanksgiving Meals in NYC?

jm1313 | Nov 22, 201808:10 AM     1

We've long enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet dinner at Govinda's Temple in downtown Brooklyn but just discovered they won't be hosting a dinner this year and are left scrambling for something fun to do today. What are your favorite off-the-beaten-path options for a fun, no-turkey holiday meal? Any borough or even outside NYC is fine! We love Govinda's since it's affordable ($40), offers a fun variety of foods (Indian and American Thanksgiving favorites + lots of sweets) and is a great community atmosphere.
