Hubby and I were raised in fairly bean-free households. The occasional lima bean crossed our paths and the obligatory can of Campbell's beans accompanied our franks, but that's the extent of it.
Lately, we've been trying to eat more beans as a quick, cheap source of protein. We're happy with the refried beans and black beans that we've come up with, but would love more suggestions. Especially for quick meals, as the new chowpup is a black hole of kitchen prep time.
We've mostly been using canned beans but am willing to branch out into dried beans. Suggestions?
