OK, OK, I know. The food was mostly junk. The menu was weird and small. The help was drenched in the stink of hip.
But they had an appetizer they called Spicy Cheese Dip (basically the ol' TexMex classic of melted Velveeta-y cheese with tomatoes and whatnot in it), and it was horrifically addictive. No matter how many times I've tried to replicate it at home with a variety of cilantro, chipotle, jalapeno, etc., it's never quite right. How does one get the recipe. Who was the owner?
