Beale Street NW BBQ

lunchrider | Jun 7, 2005 06:08 PM

I finally got a chance to have lunch at this spot.
Our table had a selection of items
meat loaf, pork loin, pork ribs, chicken and brisket.
my lunch companions raved about how good it was.
I thought the ribs were quite good and the brisket very tasty (would have been better with a little more fat on it). I liked the fact that the sauce was on the side. The 3 different sauces were just OK. Cole claw pedestrian but heck I went for Q. All is all quite good i'd go back. and the lunch prices were a deal, plus live blues even at lunch very nice. Not much in the way of atmosphere its in an old bank building (modern style)
