Wine is not discussed much on this board (so, hey! heres a new thread about it), but I was reading a discussion about wine prices at Fresh Fields in the DC area, and that discussion asserted that prices there were quite a bit higher than at other local wine retailers. As we all know, Fresh Fields is owned by Whole Foods who owns Bread and Circus (that is hardly disguised). What are your impressions of the wines available at Whole Foods/Bread and Circus? I shop regularly at the River Street locale and find the staff to be very helpful and they have a large section of very reasonably priced wines. That being said, perhaps there are better deals out there (of course there is ALWAYS a better deal), so what am I missing? On average, what do you guys think about the B&C wine selection and pricing?
