My family and I are planning a road trip through the South and with your help we'd like to make it a BBQ road trip. We are driving from Boston to Martinsburg, WV on the first day. Then on to Briston, TN and then Gatlinburg, TN. From there we make our way to Nashville and then on to Clarksdale, Mississippi where we spend five days with frequent jaunts to surrounding areas (ie Memphis). Finally, we stop in St. Louis and head home.
We'd like to focus on BBQ every step of the way with particular emphasis on the time in Clarksdale (we are willing to make day trips from there for good food). I appreciate any restaurant, ordering, or general BBQ advice you're willing to share with me. Thanks.
