Bayona, Muriel's or K-Paul's - What's Your Vote?

Lives to Eat | Oct 15, 2004 05:48 PM

I've pretty much narrowed down the meals for my upcoming trip in December, but I'm still unsure of what to do the night I arrive. It will be on a Wednesday and since my flight doesn't get in until 5pm, I thought I would check in and get settled (staying at a B&B on Bourbon & Esplanade), go to the concert at the Cathedral that starts at 8pm and then eat at 9:30pm. I'll still be on California time, so it will only seem like 7:30pm to my stomach. If it matters, I'm a woman dining alone and prefer non-smoking.

I'm trying to decide between the following - any opinions?

Bayona (have been once for dinner & last year for lunch - I like it a lot)
Muriel's (never been - close to the church)
K-Paul's (never been and would love to try the coconut cake but I need to reserve soon)

Following are my other dining plans:

UGLESICH'S (I normally don't eat lunch, but I want to try them at least once)

New Orleans Grill (have been to Commander's twice before)

I appreciate any input...
