S. Irene Virbila (LA Times Calendar section today) states: "Chef Ludovic Lefebvre has an extreme take on avant-garde cooking; Bastide may never be the same."

She goes on to write the most creative, absolute dis I've ever seen her write. And, by some of her descriptions, it sounds truly awful.

Has anyone ventured to the new Bastide? Comments?
