Basa fillets

Foxeyblue | Dec 12, 201611:54 AM

As you might have noticed I care deeply about buying high welfare meat and sustainable fish. In the UK pursuit of the latter often means Coley or Pollock as a white fish instead of Cod. Recently though I picked up a bag of similarly marketed Basa fillets.
I must admit that I'm really struggling with the flavour, strong and muddy even, rather than delicate. Is this the way of this fish or was I just unlucky with the batch?
