We are heading to Barcelona (El Born) in September for a three-day stopover on our way to Menorca. All of us are adventurous eaters, but my kids (3 1/2 and 19 mos) are also quite fidgety, chatty, and in the case of my youngest, messy.
I am holding out hope that we will be able to find really good, interesting and regional eats that are in kid-friendly environs, i.e., high-chairs over barstools, parks where we can be messy or my kids can roam if they finish before we do, no crazy long lines or jostling for a place at the bar, and perhaps something entertaining to watch, like live music?
We'll be in town Saturday afternoon through early Tuesday. Any reccs?
p.s. We love markets (indoor and farmers). Any we should definitely try?
