My fiance and I had a not-so-great experience at Bar Tabac. We took the advice of the charming waiter/actor and ordered the special starter (squid floating in Ragu spaghetti sauce) and the featured bottle of wine (aka balsamic vinegar for $35 bucks). We ended up having burgers and fries as we were too scared to see what the entrees would bring. I like the vibe there and have heard other people rave about it -- was this an off night???
