After trying to get some feedback last weekend on this place...I can now say "been there, done that". ZZZZ.
I love tapas. I like the idea of a 'cool' tapas place to have drinks (like Cha-Cha-Cha in San Francisco, for example). This place was just mediocre.
We made reservations...but were seated in the bar. Our server suggested sangria and when I said I couldn't have red wine she looked totally perplexed. I asked for a wine and cocktail menu...but I only got the latter. It looked interesting but not any better or more innovative than other restaurants. Even the Cosmopolitan at Croma was more interesting...and I hate that place.
I did discover that they actually have white sangria (not from server but from food menu)...but didn't see any selections of bottles. I ordered the white sangria and it basically tasted like Orangina. Eh...boring.
The food was good. Not great. Not different from any of the other tapas places in town (garlicky shrimp, tenderloin with blue cheese, chorizo, you get the picture). The service was alright. The decor was fine. I have no real complaints with the exception that it was just...boring.
For my money (and tapas ain't cheap)...I'd pick Dali or Taberno de Haro...even Tapeo over this place. Too bad- they could have done so much more with the place. I think it's a real estate curse.
