Bar/Bat Mitzvah Restaurant?

Question

I'm relatively new to the area (S. Westchester). Can someone recommend a restaurant -- or other unique spot -- for approx 100 guests for a Bar Mitzvah lunch on a Saturday afternoon? I would prefer to have it at a cool restaurant instead of a country club or "ballroom." We will have a rock band, so need to find someplace that is willing to accommodate that too. Any suggestions?

I lost my whole comment with links but here goes again with my list of unique spots as I don't know what restaurants can handle 100 people-you can google them. Hooperstown in Mount Vernon on Sandford Blvd. especially if he likes basketball, the rock club in new Rochelle (climbing) has a party space (also the cliffs in Valhalla), funfuzion in New Roc City. there is a new trampoline place there too Sky Zone but I don't know what kind of party room they have. LIFE the Place to Be in Ardsley. Legoland at Ridge Hill, The Capital theater Port Chester. Bowlmor Lanes White plains. Further north in Mount Kisco is Grand Prix.

I have been to a few events at Vintage in White Plains and there has been a band. The food was surprisingly good but these were very casual events/fundraisers, birthday parties and it has been about 2 or 3 years since I was there last.

Terrible website but might be worth checking out.

Just chaperoned a sweet 16 at Lucy's Bar & Kitchen in Pleasantville. They did a very nice job; mocktails for the kids, space is broken up with a dance floor and room for a band (they have live bands so would expect they would accommodate).

Sorry, a little late to respond here. Look at Harvest on Hudson in Hastings or X20, which is really a beautiful location on a pier over the Hudson in Yonkers. Great food at both. Also Zuppa right up the street from X20. Tarrytown House in Tarrytown. I think you might be able to rent out Lyndhurst for events. I don't recommend Half Moon in Dobbs Ferry, the layout is difficult for a big party.
