I have posted previously about spending 2 nights in NYC in mid-February. You all have graciously helped me decide, amongst 5 choices, where my wife and I will be having our very special Saturday night dinner (mostly likely Bouley). Now for dinner Friday night, I am considering Bar American, Duane Park and The Harrison for some good New American fare and would like opinions on where we should eat. Bar American has a big, sleek, midtown look to it while the other two look smaller and more intimate/romantic. Duane Park's website states that they are undergoing a "face lift" and will reopen Feb. 7th. The Harrison has always looked attractive to me.
I don't want to spend a fortune, considering I will be the following night, and Bar American looks like it could be the pricest. Duane Park is considered by many to be a worthwhile sleeper and looks reasonably priced. The Harrison looks like a classic NYC jaunt to me. Thoughts? Opinions? Thank you again for helping to make this a very special weekend for us!
