Baptism lunch help

pumpkinspice | Jun 19, 2017 06:37 AM

We are having our babe's baptism in the middle of August and starting to plan the menu. His baptism is at 1PM (likely ending around 2) and then we will head to our place after for a late lunch (we live about 5 minutes from the church). That being said, no one will be home to 'man' the ovens or grills ahead of time so we basically need to have easy to go food once we arrive (assuming everyone will be very hungry and we want everyone to eat shortly after they arrive).

We are having about 30 - 40 guests. Please share your make ahead ideas...anything that can be served cold / room temp would be awesome (we have 2 crock pots as well). Dessert is not a problem, I can bake cookies, squares etc ahead of time and we will order a cake from the bakery.

Basically starting from a blank canvas in terms of ideas, so please help! Thanks!
