Banyan Garden in Union City-Singapore/Malaysian

Situated in the corner of Decoto and Alvarado Niles, it is near Marina shopping complex. Nice simple decor - onto the food:

We got the lunch special which is only $5.50 per dish

Mee Siam is similar to pad thai except it has hard boiled eggs and slightly different seasonings, tofu and lemon wedges. Not spicy at all, very nice !

Hainan chicken rice is not as good as Raffles !

Char Kwee Tiauw is much better than Raffles with lots of things like bean sprout, shrimps, fried scrambled eggs, fish cakes. Not sweet like Raffles but still not as good as in Malaysia/SGP. Not bad

Aromatic chicken is boneless "sheet" with crispy outer surface. The sauce is very sweet IMO. Small slices of mango is provided. I would not reorder these

That's all folks
