Banh Xeo

Kai | Aug 5, 2003 10:10 AM

Does anyone know of a Vietnamese restaurant that makes Banh Xeo (sounds like 'zow')? How about a market that sells a good batter to make Banh Xeo?
Banh Xeo is a crispy Vietnamese omlette-looking thing that is filled with sliced pork, shrimp, and bean sprouts and served with leafy lettuce and an accompanying sauce. I haven't found one place that serves it and the asian markets either don't sell the mix or have less than desireable options. Any suggestions?
