There are lots of recipes for Bananas foster on the net. Most are pretty similar and pretty simple. I've made it before and like it well enough. However, I will be in NOLA for a few days and am wondering if a trip to Brennans for their famed BF is worth it, or am I likely to come away thinking "Yep, that tastes like Bananas Foster." In other words, is it somehow elevated to something I have probably not duplicated at home, or is it just that it was invented there and they do a nice one.
