My sister-in-law in the Quad Cities is looking for a recipe for a frozen banana dessert that our great-aunt used to make, called banana marlow. It was frozen in metal ice rays and cut in sections to serve. It had pieces of or mashed bananas, maraschino cherries, and possibly nuts in it. The recipe wasn't given to any of us, unfortunately. Does this ring a bell with midwestern or other home cooks? We've gone the Google route, but nothing seems quite the same to her. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
