The good news is that i found both bananaleaves and lemon grass at a very small Asian store in Camarillo (land of hardly anything interesting or "foreign"). I left my Blue Ginger cookbook at home and have forgotten which recipie calls for using banana leaves. Looking for other keen ideas for use in the vege-seafood genre, asian/fusion asian.
AND- quick, where should I go for seafood to prepare for christmas- looking for crab legs, lobsters, giant shrimp from Camarillo to Sherman oaks area..anyone???
