I went to Bamboo Hut (Vietnamese) in Worcester over the weekend based on a several year old recommendation from this board. (Worcester was the given and we had to find someplace there.) I'm not an expert by any means but thought I'd post an update.
The service was very friendly and they were helpful in making suggestions and finding out how spicy we wanted things, refilling tea, etc. We had two salad appetizers: a spicy shredded green papaya with shrimp, which I liked a lot, and a sweeter squid with shredded carrots and cucumbers that was also nice and light. I had a bowl of pho for dinner and it was tasty but a LOT greasier/ oilier than I remember having elsewhere, which I don't prefer. I don't know if that is more authentic or not.
Very affordable and good sized portions. The rec. of a few years ago that this was a solid, friendly place in Worcester seems to still be true. They'd had a birthday party there earlier in the day and had a lot of leftover cake that they offered us some slices of as we were leaving.
Worcester seems to be full of Vietnamese places, so I'd be interested to know how this one compared to the others - I think we must have driven past 5 or 6 on our way there.
