Thanks for the suggestions for my two weekend visits to Baltimore. First stop was dinner at Bo Brookes. Very good first experience with the crabs. Everyone including other diners were very helpful for our crab cracking. Started with crab cakes, outstanding. Skipped dessert to try Deviously Delicious Pies but they were closed. Had breakfast and lunch at Cafe Hon. Great atmosphere but food did not match. Good breakfast, disappointing meatloaf and chicken fingers (for the kid), good desserts. On the return trip, stopped at G and M by the airport. Quite an operation, huge lump crabcakes, wondered how many crabs gave their lives for each cake, crab stuffed oysters looked good but didn't get a chance to try them. Skipped dessert to go on to Deviously Delicious Pies but they were closed again. Had dinner at Samos in Greektown, traditional menu, outstanding preparation, huge portions, appetizer sampler got us off to a great start. Also had a very good dinner at a Japaneese-Korean place by JHU on 34th, can't remember the name, and very good gelato around the corner at Sweet Retreats. Last lunch was at the Hull Street Blues Cafe near Ft. McHenry. Excellent but small crabcake and very good blackened salmon sandwich. Peach cobbler came highly recommended but too much cobbler and not enough peach. All in all some fun eating. Thanks again B'more.
