Balt harbor eats for middle management income

Supervisor seeking supper | Jan 7, 2004 07:25 PM

I'm a mid-level manager in a government agency and will be staying in the inner harbor area of Baltimore for one week of training next month. As a humble public servant, I possess a paltry budget, but would nonetheless prefer to partake of some exceptional grub while in town. I'm actually planning to request a fridge for my room so I can scrimp on breakfast and lunch in order to dine out in the evenings. I've scoured the chowhound message board for tips and have compiled a list of intriguing possibilities. I'm leaning towards Soigne as my top choice for the BIG meal of the week, but I'm assuming that will likely deflate my already miserably skinny wallet. Thus, the question is, after I dine at Soigne, where might I masticate the remainder of the week on my meager wages? I'm interested in any ethnic choices, local specialties, or unusual restaurants near and about the inner harbor.
