Bali Cafe on Geary

diligent | Oct 30, 200111:21 AM

Dined solo at the Bali Cafe on Geary near 2nd (next door to Rohan), for the first time. The space is very bare and could use some soft fuzzy things on the wall to dampen noise.

However, I was pleased with the food. For $10 you get a 'bento box' with 3 entrees of your choice, plus rice and a substantial gado gado, and ice cream. Each item was good: the "skinky beans" (like large fava beans, not like Chinese stinky tofu), curry shrimp, and crispy dried fish.

It's a BYOB place, there's a cornershop two doors up.
