Their sandwiches hit the spot though they might not be as refined as Cafe Dore's filled baguettes.
They stuffed the meat on the 3.25 Dac Biet sandwich. Their bread was signifigantly better than K's and well golden toasted. They use a proper saigon baguette and according to Josh - procure them next door at vien dong.
The meats were a little dubious - one reminded me of corned beef and the cha lua seemed 'aged.' Pickles were thick cut, yet slightly slimy.
The great pate and the undertones of musky fish sauce made up for any trespasses.
I am going to come back for the peanut butter banh mi. :)
