hi hounds,

my little guy is starting kindergarten and i'm thinking about different baked goods that i can send with him for lunch.

he's not allergic to nuts but the school has asked that all food be nut-free. we are allowed to send no-nut butters/seed butters.

my question ... can i simply substitute no-nut butters and/or seed butters for peanut butter in a recipe? is it a straight one for one swap?

i usually bake with natural nut butters and prefer the lack of sugar; i find some no-nut butters are pretty sweet so i'll have to take that into account in the recipe.

TIA!
