I bake a pretty mean cheesecake nad as much as I watch the food network and peruse cookbooks, there has never been an explanation on how to remove the bottom of the springform pan. The sides are a no brainer, but if you are taking a cheesecake with you to a party or a function and want to put the cheesecake on a cake circle and not worry about leaving the bottom of your springform pan somewhere, how do you remove the cheesecake without damaging it. Do I need a heavy duty professional quality spatula to just lift the cake up off the bottom. I assume you cant flip a cheesecake. Someone mentioned parchment paper, but it raises the same question. How do you get if off the bottom of the cheesecake?
