It's December in some of my favorite places already. This is probably the bakingest month of the year, what with holiday and gift baking. What are you up to in the kitchen these days?
I made the gooey butter cake bars from the current Cook's Country this week for an office holiday breakfast. They loved them, but I didn't love how messy they are or how much they stuck to the pan corners...also too sweet for my taste. Have to make fruitcake for my MIL, laying in the supplies. Buncha other things on my mind. So...how about you?
