Friends took us to the Baker St Bistro on Sunday evening. Personal and warm. The duck breast with fig sauce and lentils was outstanding. The poached pear was a hit, delicately spiced and beautifully presented. I was mildly disappointed that there was no cheese on the dessert menu but I can't really get to the level of complaint. The fixed price dinner is $14.50. We didn't have it, but whatever it is, that has to be a deal.
