Baked tofu?

A recipe for Pad Thai I have calls for baked tofu. Having never bought tofu, is this "baked" kind readily available in the refrig. section of most markets (where they'd have the silken tofu, gyoza wrappers, etc.)? Or is it necessary to actually bake the tofu to get the firm bits of tofu as seen in pad thais?
