it seems like, when it comes to downtown, the south end is my our biggest hope of finding a decent baked good (i.e. one that is not a dunkin donut or a scone from some giant starbucks sconemaking plant).
so i've made my rounds to flour and nashoba brook. love the quality and character at the former in particular. i've had a few items at appleton (not that impressed) and the garden of eden.
what am i missing out? where do people go for a seriously good cookie / muffin?
