Baja Fresh - world's biggest disappointment:(

We saw that this Mexican chain , new to MA in Stoneham, with 16 more coming, boasting all fresh, no microwaves or freezers or lard, opened and it sounded so great, and looked great online, including red snapper tacos, 2 kinds of vegetarian beans, shrimp etc.
Our visit was really bad... such a letdown...
-the fish taco had a fish stick the size of a pinky
-the shrimp taco had 5 thumbnail size uncleaned shrimp
-the beans which i was told were not at all spicy were very spicy
-there are 2 kinds of beans and 3 employees had different answers as to which kind was spicy... one said black, one said pinto, one said neither. correct answer:BOTH
-husband ordered pinto on burrito, got black instead
-guacamole, the only non spicy item, tasted like unripe avocado-also an order of it is the size of a small ketchup cup, about 2 teaspoons i would guess
-rice was too salty to eat and i LOVE salt
-they put two tortillas together for the tacos and they are stuck together so they are stiff and tough and stuck together and thick. found myself actually crazing taco bell tortilla
-manager's response to beans being spicy after being told that they would not be, was that some people are just sensitive.then came over to the table to repeat the sensitive speech . If i was Stone Cold Steve Austin in his face instead of a petite female, would he have called me sensitive??? He did give us coupons for free burritos, because of the error in my husbands. I have never recieved a coupon for free food that I have no desire to use!
-longer wait for food to come than i have ever had in fast food joint
-cost over twice as much as taco bell
-husband said the cheese made a wierd web in burritto. it looked wierd and translucent on the top
-cheese in beans looked like coconut flakes
-pinto beans looked great if you like spicy
-no refried beans
-husband asked for sour cream, lettuce, and tomato in his bean and cheese burritto, cost about 7 bucks with the extra charges. No one bothered to tell him it comes with it! so he had some in it and some on the plate..
-anyone have other opinions?
-oh yeah, and the decor looks straight out of Sleeper. stark and white and bright and cold temperature
-maybe its good for spicy-loving meat eaters?
well, no more high expectations for fast food joints for us!..
will stick to 3 Amigos in Stoneham, Taco Bell in Saugus, and will try the new Acapulco in Beverly in hopes for better mexican along the 128 north area-
