My obsession with bahn mi continues... I found myself with three dollars in my pocket and needed something filling so I turned on my bahn mi sensors and sniffed out another sitdown Chinatown Vietnamese restaurant selling bahn mi up front by the register.
Thai Son at 89 Baxter St. sells one variety and luckily it was only 2.75. It's a chicken roll and sliced pork combo. I asked for it very spicy and they delivered in grand fashion. It was the hottest bahn mi I've ever eaten. It had a good ratio of meat to vegetables but could have used a bit more of both. Not the best quality but it's better than the place nearby in the variety store.
