My brother just moved to Port Washington and while visiting him this weekend I had the best bagel I've had in... well possibly in my life.
Outside was chewy with a slight crispness when they were hot. They were not large and were fairly dense, with a moist, chewy interior... the plain needed a TOUCH more salt but that's the only fault I could find.
Hubby loved the sesame as well- the seeds were toasted or something that really brought out the sesame flavor.

It depressed the heck out of me to come back home to Bagel Hell (Massachusetts) where fluffy tasteless bagels are the norm, with only a rapidly dwindling supply to remind me that there are still people out there who know how to make bagels.
