Wife and I are moving down to Encinitas in August. We've eaten around the San Diego area for years now and are looking forward to many great chowhound experiences in our new digs. Need some hound help, though, as to where we would locate three staples of our home diet as close as possible to Encinitas:
(1) New York style (hard) bagels--not the soft donuts that Noah's passes off as bagels
(2) A chinese/vietnamese bakery that sells baked/steamed bao and other dim sum for take-out--not a dim sum restaurant.
(3) A cheap (40-75 cents apiece) mexican panaderia for pan dulce and other yummy mexican pastries.
Much Thanks Everyone!
