Went to Sal & Carmines at lunchtime and had a genuinely bad slice, believe it or not. First of all it was an obviously re-heated pie-why can't they always pull out fresh ones? What I found most surprising was that the CRUST tasted bad-it had a very, very strange taste.
It certainly wasn't worth the trek up there. I used to find the slices a bit on the salty side but still excellent, with stand-out crust. Sad.
