One bad review in a weekend of winners/Gelato Cafe

So much food, so little time .... the weekend held many culinary joys, ranging from a wonderful steak at a new Italian place, to a perfect Sunday-night dinner at Moon Palace (boneless crispy duck and "double-A greens" were the winning dishes), to a late-night snack at Kabbabish of London. Chicago chow was firing on all cylinders this weekend. I do have one new review, and it's negative:

Gelato Cafe on W. Division near Damen. I can't find a listing for it so I can't get its exact address. It's in one of those new condo complexes on Division, next to a lighting store and a spa. I can't pass up any new place offering frozen desserts, so it was only a matter of time before I tried this place. Walked in, saw a beautiful display of gorgeous, fluffy gelatos. Flavors all sounded wonderful. I picked half tiramisu and half panna cotta. Unfortunately, it looked much better than it was -- mediocre gelato. No distinct flavors. Sweet and cold was about it.

The single staff person was terribly, terribly rude, slow, bored-acting, insouciant, and unpleasant. Every customer was made to wait and wait. No eye contact, no greeting, no thank you, no nothing. The gelatos are all made in-house, at least I think so, since the response I got to my question was a rather ambiguous grunt and eye-rolling.

Expensive coffee drinks and pastries are also offered. The man in front of me ordered one specialty cappuccino drink and one coke, and his bill was over $10. My small gelato was nearly $4.

Skip it. Unpleasant setting, mediocre overpriced gelato. I'm just waiting for Miami Taste to reopen!
