Baci Gelato in Roslyn LI is FABULOUS!!

janie | Jun 22, 200709:03 PM

How come none of you Nassau hounds reported on this absolutely killer gelato place on Willis Ave in Roslyn..stopped in there this evening around 11 pm, and got some cappucino and mint to go, ---let me just say that there were slivers and chunks of high end chocolate in there, and in the cappucino, it tasted like caramel brown sugar chunks...too good to be believed.---Got a pint of Pineapple and Pink Grapefruit to go--love to make mixed drinks with gelato as add ins------------tasted a few others, and each was so different and vibrant tasting.

.I saw the place quickly as I was driving up Willis, by accident actually because there was terrible traffic on the meadowbrook, so took this way from Old country to get to the GCP, and thought it might have some relation to the great Baci gelato that is in Miami in South Beach and in Coral Gables...but I asked and they are not related.

Very nice Russian man said his son is the owner...it's an adorable chic looking place, immaculate, and the quality of the gelato is very similar to what I had in Miami..in fact, he knows the place and owner in Miami, and was glad to hear the comparison.

Flavors are amazing, and prices are good, too. Too bad, Pui Bella in Forest Hills near me, doesn't taste like this........Wow, I can't wait to go back...if you haven't gone, run there, it's simply perfect.................
